Dear community, dear enthusiasts, It is with a touch of emotion that we close today the first Mu:n adventure. For almost two years, the enthusiasm for this experimental project has been growing, and the Mu:n community now gathers several thousand of members around the world. You joined us by hundreds in the first steps of this creation, and by thousands to vote for the colors of this series. Without further ado, we would like to introduce to you Hommage, a Swiss Made automatic moonphase, the first edition of the Mu:n projects.
The Mu:n project was designed around one objective: to offer watchmaking amateurs, experts or enthusiasts, the very means to participate, influence, or simply follow a creative process. During the four chapters that paced this adventure, we offered you tools, technical insights, and ephemeral creative spaces. The enthusiasm for this creation has exceeded our expectations, and we have not stopped giving the best of ourselves. We want our next projects to be even more immersive, with the launch of new creative spaces, and forever driven by the passion of the community that makes them live. Today we are inaugurating the first series of the Hommage Edition, the Creators’ Series. As its name suggests, this series is dedicated to all enthusiasts who have supported and followed us for nearly two years. Composed of 4 automatic models, this series has been designed around the colors that shaped this adventure. In the same spirit as for each step of our projects, this series will be ephemeral. It will be available from November on the Kickstarter platform, for 30 days.
Beyond the collaborative aspect, we wish through these projects to embody and promote a dynamic of transparency. In this regard, the technical aspects, price, or feasibility, are disclosed at each chapter of the creation. All the technical details, the origin of our suppliers and the manufacturing processes, are made available to the community on Mu:n website. On this basis, we will also publish the complete production costs of our models. Finally, as part of this launch and to thank our participating creators, the first models will also be proposed at factory prices. At the dawn of this first edition, we are also asking for your support. Our collaborative projects depend on the community behind them. With this in mind, we invite you to follow the project on the Kickstarter page and hope you will encourage friends and enthusiasts to join us. This dynamic is crucial to allow us to continue these creative experiments in a sustainable way, and to contribute, at our level, to the diversity and accuracy of the watchmaking world.
