Mu:n first
creative experience
For almost 2 years, thousands of enthusiasts actively participated in the first Mu:n creation. The Origin Series is the result of this unprecedented collaboration, bringing together thousands of watch lovers and industry experts.
A lunar revolution of 29.50 days
Quartz model No. 51 features a minimalist moon disc. Designed by Mu:n, this disc celebrates the clean lines of traditional moonphases. In contrast to the satin finish of the dial, its light gray moon on a blue sky lend all its strength to the overall composition .
The scale in railway which frames the window of the moon makes it possible to follow with precision the age of the moon.
A tribute to the accuracy of astronomy
The dial has 5 indexes on a refined composition: seconds and minutes, 12 and 24 hours, day of the month and the age of the moon.
Affixed on 12 diamond-cut platforms, the 13-24h graduation, bears witness to the French attachment of Mu:n Projects and echoes the aerospace notation.
MU:N PROJECTS
The ambition of the Mu:n projects is to offer enthusiasts a new way to participate, influence and follow the entire watchmaking process.
This approach is based on three commitments, at the heart of the manifesto: collaboration, transparency, and accuracy.

The workshops behind this edition
This first edition was produced in partnership with Franco-Swiss workshops, combining traditional knowledge and state-of-the-art technology.
More than simple suppliers, they give life to the editions and accompany the Mu:n projects in their totality, from research to development.
Founded in 1946 in Lausen, Ronda is a family business now taken over by its third generation. A technological leader in the sector, specializing in the production of quartz movements, the company has distinguished itself in the manufacture and assembly of microtechnical components.
As partners of the Mu:n Projects since uly 2020, Ronda manufactures are in charge of the development and production of the Normtech 708 quartz movements.

Founded in 1970, PH Saner SA has lived to the rhythm of watchmaking. From a small family workshop specializing in the winding of mechanical movements, the company was driven by the boom of quartz in the 1980s. With its own production site, the workshop returned to its core business in the early 2000s, heralding the return of mechanical movements.
The workshop has been assisting Mu:n projects since April 2022. It is the guarantor of the Swiss Made label, and controls the entire assembly chain: from movement modifications to after-sales service.

ENGRAVING THE MOON XVIII
The case back is inspired by the La Lune XVIII card from the Tarot de Marseille drawn by Jean Dodal in the 17th century.
Two wolfdogs, a tower, a crayfish, as well as the Moon and its rays are laser engraved on a screw-down case back.
ORIGIN NUMBER 51
With subtle touches of blue on satin white, the Origine series offers a timeless composition. Its modern dial with multiple indexes breaks with its traditional moon phase. The overall composition, pure and discreet, bears witness to a creation designed to endure the ages.
Its number echoes Isaac Asimov's Foundation, published in 1951.
