No. 29 was born from Mu:n first creative experience

For almost 2 years, thousands of enthusiasts actively participated in the first Mu:n creation. The Creators Series is the result of this unprecedented collaboration, bringing together watch lovers and industry experts. No. 29 is an ephemeral model that inaugurates the launch of the Mu:n projects.

CREATORS NUMBER 29

With a black sunray dial and metallic gray hands, the deep composition of the N°29 naturally draws attention to its moon disc.

The ½ of its lunar scale, subtly tinted in red, pays tribute to the regularity of the 29.5 days moon cycle.

LIMITED SERIES TO 70 COPIES

Creators is an ephemeral series, designed around the colors that punctuated the first creation. Pre-orders were open for 29.50 days, in November 2022.

N°29 was edited in 70 copies.

A unique moon disc, dedicated to the Creators Series

Mu:n has partnered with AJS Production, a workshop specializing in the miniaturization of watch components, to develop a moondisc dedicated to the Creator Series. The No.29 presents a deep black version, with a white moon and anthracite reflections.

Based on a true representation of the moon, this unique nine-step printing process makes each disc unique through subtle color variations. The craters of the moon are burned on the surface to give it a grayish sheen and a relief perceptible to the naked eye.

CALIBER SW288-1A

The model is equipped with the SW288-1a caliber, from the Sellita manufactures. As a standard of Swiss watchmaking excellence, it features a rapid day/night correction, a day calendar and a moon phase complication.

The caliber is offered in an elaborate setting, at +/-7 seconds per day, controlled in Switzerland at the PH Saner workshop.

A tribute to the accuracy of astronomy

The dial has 6 indexes on a refined composition: seconds, minutes, 12 and 24 hours, day of the month and the age of the moon.

Affixed on 12 diamond-cut platforms, the 13-24h graduation, bears witness to the French attachment of Mu:n Projects and echoes the aerospace notation.

STIPPLING AND PAPER SPIRAL FINISHES

The caliber exhibits the highest degree of finishing offered by Sellita Manufactures: pearled plates and bridges, chamfered edges, a colimaçon-finished barrel with engravings, and blued screws.

The latter is visible through an open case back in sapphire crystal, with anti-reflective treatment.

ARCANE N18, LA LUNE

The oscillating weight is inspired by the La Lune XVIII card of the Tarot de Marseille, drawn by Jean Dodal in the 17th century. Redrawn by Mu:n in the form of six coats of arms in bas-relief, each allegory is set against a specific background.

Two wolfhounds, a tower, a crayfish, and the Moon and its rays are all femto laser-engraved on a fully decorated mass.

Arcane No. 18, The Moon

The oscillating weight is inspired by the card The Moon XVIII of the Tarot de Marseille drawn by Jean Dodal in the 17th century. Composed of allegoric symbols, this emblematic card evokes the richness of our imagination, the buried memories that the moon enlightens.

Redesigned by Mu:n in the form of six coats of arms in bas-relief, each allegory is deposited on a specific decoration whose finish recalls the original environment of the emblem.

The workshops behind this edition

This first edition was produced in partnership with Franco-Swiss workshops, combining traditional knowledge and state-of-the-art technology.

More than simple suppliers, they give life to the editions and accompany the Mu:n projects in their totality, from research to development.

Founded in 1950 in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Sellita started out as an assembler of mechanical movements. The company then evolved into the design and production of its own range of movements, before establishing itself over the years as a true pillar of the Swiss watch industry.

As partners of the Mu:n Projects since October 2020, Sellita manufactures are in charge of the development and production of the SW200 automatic movements.

MOVEMENT • FINISHES

A French-speaking company founded in 1992, PERFEX has forged close ties with all the players in the Shenzhen industrial basin for over 30 years. The beating heart of modern watchmaking, the region is now supplanting European basins in the production of standardized parts, both in terms of equipment and price.

Since March 2020, PERFEX has been supplying materials and industrial components for the Mu:n Projects from its control office in Hong Kong.

Founded in 1983 in the village of Avoudrey in Franche-Comté, the SIS group is the standard-bearer of French leather goods. With 30 years of experience and an in-house training school, the group boasts an alliance between artisanal manufacturing and the latest generation of machinery.

Following a collaboration initiated in January 2022, the SIS group has taken over the entire leather range of Mu:n Projects since March 2023.

Founded in 1970, PH Saner SA has lived to the rhythm of watchmaking. From a small family workshop specializing in the winding of mechanical movements, the company was driven by the boom of quartz in the 1980s. With its own production site, the workshop returned to its core business in the early 2000s, heralding the return of mechanical movements.

The workshop has been assisting Mu:n projects since April 2022. It is the guarantor of the Swiss Made label, and controls the entire assembly chain: from movement modifications to after-sales service.

AJS Production

Founded in 1998, AJS Production specializes in the modification of movements and the production of miniature parts for major watchmakers. With a research department that is constantly innovating, the company was distinguished at the 2016 Exhibitors Grand Prix in Geneva for its expertise in miniaturization.

Since January 2021, AJS Production accompanies Mu:n Projects from the elaboration of technical drawings to the development and realization of miniature parts (oscillating weight, moondisc etc).
